Vera, The Slightly Mad Penguin Feeling Watched (and Looking for Her Lipstick)

Vera had only stepped outside for a moment, just to sniff the ranunculus. But there it was again — that feeling.

The strange, tingling sense that someone was watching her.
She glanced around. Only flowers. Spirals. Blue eyes on stems? Hmm.

And then it hit her:
She’d forgotten her lipstick.
The one that matches here eyes.
Typical Tuesday.

Now she stands very still, trying to look casual, surrounded by beauty and mild paranoia. A little dramatic, a little fabulous, and just Vera being Vera.

💬 Vera quote:
"Someone’s watching me. Probably the peonies. I should’ve worn lipstick."
