Vera had a really strange dream.
She dreamt she was getting married. And she couldn’t, for her bare life, understand where that thought came from. She was unsettled by the whole charade.
What if her dream came true? What should she do?
She had never met anything even close to a soulmate. In the dream, he was handsome and tall. But Vera knew that every penguin looked pretty much the same. And even the tallest one was… well, pretty short.
Besides, Vera didn’t have time to find someone to marry. She had a big sister to avoid, a little brother to find, and some strangely familiar new friends to get to know.
The more she thought about the dream, the more it felt like a nightmare.
Vera decided that if anyone ever tried to marry her, she’d simply waddle away…
